The registered crawlers this year come from all walks of life,
and bring many interesting things to the event. We will be updating
this list every few days, so check back often and see if you can
find these interesting people on the 24th! (and to learn more things
about congenital heart defects)
If you have some interesting facts to add, please email them to Kellie Fuller: kelliebel@gmail.com.
Did you know...
|
| - This year we have multiple varieties of "Kelly" crawling with us. Represented "Kellys" include Kelly, Kellie, Kelie, and hopefully a man named Kelly. |
| |
| - Evan West has four letters in his first and last name, but his MySpace page suggests that his name may suggest a longer original name? |
| |
| - There are approximately 35 different kinds of congenital
heart defects? |
| |
- Marie Amara's name sounds like a palindrome, but it's not. Her name backwards is Arama Eiram. |
| |
| - Congenital means "present at birth," so congenital
heart defects are those with which people are born? |
| |
- Erin Newell had to have her L replaced because it was broken in a bad fall back in high school. Up until that time, her name was Erin Ell. |
| |
| - Approximately 1 out of every 125 babies in the US is born
with a congenital heart defect? |
| |
- The pub crawl is one of the safest places to be in Quincy. Participating this year are three nurses, three guidance counselors, five soldiers, two cops, and one firefighter who is also trained to dismantle explosives. |
| |
| - Erin Flaherty has a fish named 'Bruce,' which is the same name Steve Spielberg used for the animatronic shark in 'Jaws'? |
| |
| - An echocardiogram is a test that beams sound waves off of
the heart to create an image that doctors can use to determine
if a person has any heart defects? It uses the same ultrasound
technology that doctors use to get photos of babies as they
are developing in their mom's tummies. |
